Dialogue for final scene of Modern Times (1936)

Source: Modern Times: Chaplin Project N. 2
Chaplin toyed with the idea of dialogue for Modern Times. He and Paulette made sound tests and actually shot some scenes with dialogue, but he eventually abandoned the idea and kept the film essentially silent, although the Tramp is given a voice toward the end of the film when he sings a song in gibberish.
